"Go in search of the poor sheep who have strayed from His love and have become the refuse of the world." These inspiring words of St. Mary Euphrasia Pelletier echoed through the hearts of every Heartian as Sacred Heart Girls' High School celebrated the birth anniversary of its revered Foundress on 30 July 2026. The celebration was a profound expression of gratitude for a woman whose vision of mercy, compassion, and unconditional love continues to define the Good Shepherd mission across the world. The school assembly commenced with a prayerful invocation, soulful hymns, and a graceful dance by the Primary School students. A thought-provoking skit by the Middle School students vividly portrayed the life of St. Mary Euphrasia, highlighting her unwavering faith, courageous leadership, and tireless dedication to restoring hope and dignity to those on the margins of society. In her inspiring message, Rev. Sr. Felicitas Kiritappa, Principal, urged the students to embrace the Foundress's enduring values of kindness, humility, forgiveness, and selfless service, reminding them that even the smallest acts of love can transform lives. The Catholic students later participated in a solemn Eucharistic Celebration, celebrated by Rev. Fr. Gerald Solomon, whose homily beautifully reflected on the saint's spirituality and her complete trust in Divine Providence. The spirit of the occasion extended beyond prayer through an engaging inter-house quiz, with a special round dedicated to the life and mission of St. Mary Euphrasia, while the Primary School students enthusiastically showcased their talents in a variety of creative competitions inspired by the Foundress. The celebration was far more than a remembrance of a birth anniversary; it was a renewal of the Good Shepherd charism. It reaffirmed our commitment to become compassionate leaders, courageous servants, and faithful witnesses of God's infinite love. As members of the Good Shepherd family, we continue to cherish the timeless legacy of St. Mary Euphrasia Pelletier, striving to make our world more just, merciful, and hope-filled—one act of love at a time.

The Sacred Heart family gathered to honour and pray for our beloved teacher, Ms. Pamela. The service was attended by the Principal, staff, students, and family members, all united in gratitude for her life and dedicated service to our primary section. Ms. Pamela was remembered for her gentleness, patience, and cheerful spirit that brought warmth and joy to her classroom. Through hymns, Scripture reading from the Gospel of John (14:1–3),and the Prayer of the Faithful, the teachers and students thanked God for her life and prayed for eternal rest for her soul and comfort for her family.
